Steppe Wool Rug - Gray Sheep 80 x 140 cm
The simple, minimalist design of the steppe rug consists of a surface of short-pile wool, shaved with strips of extra-short pile that give it a subtle texture. The edges are finished with a strip of bare cotton canvas, which frays into ruffled fringes beneath a narrow line of tufted wool, in a contrasting color.
- The wool is not dyed and owes its natural colors to sheep of different origins from all over the world, such as Russia (gray). As in the entire Moutons du monde collection, the steppe rug also includes a proportion of 20% New Zealand wool in its composition for superior quality and increased softness.
