The Polku balance beam comes in three different sets: small, medium and large. All sets are composed of different beams and connectors. In total, there are four types of beams: long and straight, short and straight, long and curved, and two types of connecting pieces that can be stacked on top of each other for added height and challenge.
POLKU Small is a perfect option for younger children who have already learned to walk and are ready to start exploring their balance and coordination skills. We recommend laying the beams on the ground without the connectors first and becoming familiar with the track before climbing higher above ground level.
When the child has already gained some experience with body balance and walking on the beams, POLKU Medium is an excellent choice to increase the level of challenge and to build the first tracks. The Medium model can also be easily added to an existing Small set to allow for greater variation when your child has gained some balance experience and is ready to move on to the next level.
For more advanced balancers and intrepid beam track designers we have the POLKU Large which has a total of 8 beams and 10 connectors to create the most imaginative tracks. The Kaura Cushion was designed for use with the Luoto Climbing Arch when the arch is flipped over and used as a rocker. The cushion is soft and plump, making rocking a comfortable and calming experience.
The cushion features six cells filled with soft, 100% recycled EcoSuperSoft filling for optimal comfort. In each corner of the cushion there are ties to secure the cushion to the arch, so that it does not slide off the arch when you sit on it.
