Kai Changing Dresser - Kas Copenhagen - Smoked Oak

The Kas Copenhagen Kai Changing Dresser in Smoked Oak combines the iconic Scandinavian design of the Kai collection with a practical and generous changing area. Its rounded lines, warm smoked oak finish and ample storage make it a beautiful addition to a baby's room.

Designed to grow with the family, it can later be transformed into an elegant dresser when the changing top is no longer needed.

A practical changing dresser from birth

The Kai dresser includes a wooden changing top, creating a comfortable and functional space for your baby's daily care.

As your child grows and the changing top is no longer needed, it can be removed. The dresser then returns to its role as a storage unit and can continue to be used for many years.

It can therefore grow from a baby's room into a child's room and, thanks to its timeless design, later find a place in other rooms of the home.

Generous, easy-access storage

The Kai dresser has three large drawers and two side storage compartments, providing plenty of space for organising clothes, linen, nappies and other baby essentials.

Its generous size keeps everyday items easily accessible while maintaining a tidy room.

The new smoked oak finish

This version of the Kai dresser stands out with its beautiful oil-treated smoked oak finish, which adds greater depth and warmth to the furniture while highlighting the natural character of the oak.

As wood is a natural material, each piece of furniture is unique. The grain, texture and shades of the oak may naturally vary from one piece to another.

When smoked oak is treated, the wood may also absorb the oil differently depending on its structure and the direction of its fibres. Some areas may therefore appear lighter or darker, with slight variations in colour and surface appearance.

These variations are natural and do not constitute defects. They are part of the authentic character of the wood and make each Kai piece of furniture unique.

Scandinavian design made to last

With its soft shapes and minimalist aesthetic, the Kas Copenhagen Kai collection brings timeless elegance to a baby's room.

The deep tone of smoked oak pairs particularly well with cream, beige, off-white and natural shades, helping to create a warm and refined setting.

Once the changing stage is over, its design, which is not overly associated with babies, allows you to keep the dresser for many years and easily integrate it into a child's room or elsewhere in the home.

Kai changing mat available as an option

The dresser can be complemented by the Kas Copenhagen Kai changing mat, available in several colours.

Its oval shape and soft curves were specially designed to fit the Kai changing top. Made from polyurethane foam without a rigid support, it provides a comfortable surface for your baby's daily care.

Its waterproof surface is easy to clean and the mat is free from PVC and BPA. It has been tested in accordance with European standards EN 71-3:2013 and EN 71-3:2019.
