Kai Dresser - Kas Copenhagen - Smoked Oak

The Kas Copenhagen Kai Dresser in Smoked Oak is an elegant and timeless storage unit, designed to fit just as well in a nursery or child's bedroom as in any other room of the home. Its clean Scandinavian design, gentle curves and beautiful smoked oak finish make it a piece of furniture to keep for many years.

An elegant dresser for the nursery... and much more

In a nursery, the Kai dresser provides generous space for storing clothes, linens and accessories while adding a warm and refined touch to the decor.

Its deliberately timeless design means it can also be used well beyond the early years. As the child grows, it can remain in their bedroom or naturally find its place in a master bedroom, living room or any other room in the home.

More than just a children's piece of furniture, the Kai dresser is designed as a truly durable furnishing.

Generous and functional storage

The Kai dresser features two cupboards with shelves and three large drawers, providing plenty of space to easily organise everyday belongings.

The doors and drawers are fitted with a push-to-open system. A light press with the hand, hip or knee is enough to open or close them, which is especially practical when your hands are full.

The absence of visible handles also contributes to the unit's minimalist, streamlined lines.

A characterful smoked oak finish

This new version of the Kai dresser stands out with its oil-treated smoked oak finish, giving the wood a deeper, warmer tone while highlighting its natural character.

As oak is a natural, living material, each dresser is unique. The grain, texture and natural patterns of the wood may vary from one piece of furniture to another.

When the smoked oak is treated, the wood also absorbs the oil differently depending on its natural structure and the direction of its fibres. Some areas may therefore appear lighter or darker, with slight variations in colour or surface appearance.

These differences are entirely normal and are not defects. They are part of the authentic character of natural oak and make each piece of furniture unique.

A piece of furniture designed to evolve with your home

The dresser can be used on its own as a storage unit or combined with the Kai changing top, sold separately. It fits onto the dresser without leaving visible holes in its top.

When the changing top is no longer needed, the dresser simply returns to its original function and can continue to be used for many years in the child's bedroom or elsewhere in the home.
