The beauty of Maileg is that, in theory, there is no right or wrong answer: the founder, Dorthe Mailil, says everything should depend on your imagination… But in reality, some furniture will only work in a larger miniature dollhouse, for example, while others will look too small in that large house and will fit much better in the castle. Dimensions are always listed on the product page, but who has time to grab a ruler and figure out what fits where?! We are busy moms too… and we certainly wouldn’t have time for that!

Maileg sizes are a bit tricky to determine. You don’t know if the furniture will fit in the Maileg castle or not. No time to pull out a ruler to check! No, neither do we. So we created this collection, with only furniture suited for the castle and the Maileg mice. Some products you’ll see in this selection fit the Maileg miniature dollhouse, but don’t worry: we always specify which ones. There are also a few products that work well in both. We checked every piece by hand, so you can be sure you’re ordering the right items. The Maileg mice will be very happy!

Maileg furniture… a bit confusing with the sizes sometimes, right?! Unlike other dollhouses, the Maileg miniature dollhouse is much larger and therefore requires suitable furniture to be realistic. Maileg offers a wide selection of furniture, but some are intended for the castle… and others for the miniature dollhouse. The castle furniture is mostly too small for the house, and the house furniture is too big for the castle! To avoid any confusion and make your shopping easier, we have divided the two furniture collections: furniture suitable for the castle and furniture suitable for the miniature dollhouse. No mistakes possible! Everything on this page fits perfectly with the miniature dollhouse… no rules needed, we’ve checked everything for you!

And if you have the SuitCasa House, things get even easier! This house, more compact than the Maileg miniature dollhouse but more spacious than the castle, accommodates a beautiful variety of furniture without causing any proportion mismatch. Some furniture designed for the castle fits perfectly, while several pieces made for the miniature dollhouse also adapt very well. The SuitCasa House is therefore an excellent compromise: realistic, harmonious, and compatible with many Maileg pieces. We have checked each piece of furniture for you, so you can confidently choose those that will perfectly match your SuitCasa House.

Les Petits Maileg mice come in four different sizes:
The Moms and Dads, the Big Brothers and Big Sisters, the Little Brothers and Little Sisters, and the Baby mice.
- The Parents measure 15 cm
- The Big Brothers and Big Sisters measure 12 cm
- The Little Brothers and Little Sisters measure 10 cm
- The Baby mice measure 8 cm
At Maileg, the Brother and Sister mice are called 'Micro' size and the Baby mice are called 'My' size.

Maileg Rabbits and Bunnies come in different sizes: from the smallest My and Micro sizes up to the largest, size 5.
The difference between a Bunny and a Rabbit lies in their ears: Bunnies have floppy ears, while Rabbits have upright ears.
Maileg Rabbits are therefore always a bit larger than Bunnies, simply because of their ears.
Micro-sized Rabbits and Bunnies are about the same size as the big brother and sister mice, and can share clothes and furniture with them.
My-sized Rabbits are comparable to baby mice and use the same furniture.
There are Rabbits and Bunnies in Micro and sizes 1 to 5. However, in the My size, only Rabbits exist: there are no Bunnies in the My size.
